Do you spend most weekends indoors thinking you should get out and about more?
Want to meet new like-minded people?
We are the answer!
We like to make it easy if you’re new to walking and our Introductory Walks are ideal. An Introductory Walk is short and leisurely often featuring beautiful landscapes with a traditional pub en route to give you the opportunity to ask questions.
There’s nothing complicated about the way our group is run. If you want to attend any of our walks and most of our social events all you need to do is turn up. Certain events require booking and this will be highlighted in the events information.
So come along and give us a try!

Eythrope Park Medieval Walk
A beautiful walk through the tranquil countryside between Cuddington and Waddesdon. We start at Cuddington, a winner of the Buckinghamshire's Best Kept Village Award 17 times in the last 32 years, including in 2017, and follow River Thame to Eythrope.
Eythrope forms a part of the Waddesdon Park, a Grade II Registered Park and Garden as owned by the Rothschild family, and a site of the Medieval Settlement of Eythrope. This monument is scheduled under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979 as amended as it appears to the Secretary of State to be of national importance.
After Eythrope we'll pass over rolling hills and enjoy views of the Thame Valley as we make our way back to Cuddington. After the walk we'll head to The Crown in Cuddington for post walk drinks. Please bring a packed lunch.

Croxley Green and Whippendell Wood Bluebells
Leaving Croxley Green station we'll pass through woods in the Croxley Triangle (where the Met line splits off to Watford and Amersham) and our first bluebells of the day. Heading through the village and across the green, we make our way past farmland until we reach Harrocs, Merlin's Wood, all full of bluebells.

Dockey Wood has become a very popular place to see the bluebells with thousands of visitors each year. The National Trust who own and manage the woods has put measures in place to help protect the bluebells for the future. In 2016 the NT started charging for entry at peak times to help pay for the additional protection. This walk plans to arrive a Dockey Wood when free entry resumes.
