Welcome to Chilterns 20-30s Walking Group!

We enjoy being outdoors and walking in the fresh air and stunning scenery of the Chiltern Hills in southern England.

Explore the beautiful Chilterns countryside

We love finding new places and sharing the places we know with others. We do this by walking in the Chiltern Hills of South Buckinghamshire and West Hertfordshire every weekend all year round and some weekday evenings in the summer. A few times a year we get away for the weekend to discover scenic coastline, rugged mountains and everything in-between.

Make new friends

We are over 150 people from their 20s to early 40s who enjoy walking and socialising. Most of our walks end at the pub, a great way to get to know fellow members. You will see familiar faces and often meet new people each time you come. Along with our walks we have an active socials programme with regular pub nights and other social events.

Get some exercise

We believe you can improve your health and have fun walking with us. With leisurely walks from 5 miles to more strenuous 15+ mile hikes, we have something to suit everyone.

Try us for free

We will welcome you on any walk; just choose one suitable for you. There’s no need to contact anyone beforehand unless stated in the walk description, just turn up. We are part of and funded by the Ramblers, working to create a Britain where everyone has the freedom to enjoy the outdoors on foot. You are free to enjoy three different events before you decide to join usas a member.

We look forward to meeting you on a walksoon.

New walkers

New walkers

We aim to make it easy if you're new to walking in the countryside. Don't be shy - try one of our introductory walks that are ideal for new walkers. These walks are generally shorter and often feature beautiful landscapes or a traditional pub en route!
